As I was contemplating characters from fairy tales, conniving witches stirring up potions and poisons came up again and again…which got me to thinking.  What if she wasn’t stirring up trouble in a secret lair, but rather trying to make sense of the world in a chemistry lab?  What if she wasn’t cruel and out to harm innocent young women, but was in fact a young woman herself, passionately committed to uncovering the great truths of humanity through scientific discovery?

And so, the girl who loved science with all of her brain was born.  As her “laboratory” came together, I wondered about her scope of inquiry. I laughed out loud when I realized that she was studying the twisty-turniest of subjects (no, she would not approve of that terminology) - she was trying to make sense of the human experience of love.

From studying neurotransmitters to diligently recording the daisy petals predictions, this passionate scientist seems determined to use her brain to uncover the mysteries of the heart.
