This sweet clown piece is one of several new pieces that I’ll be sharing Memorial Day weekend—at the upcoming Denver Arts Festival! It’s my first time participating in this event, and I’m thrilled to be showing at such and incredible show in my own neighborhood!
Whether you’re drawn to the soft and strange, the playful or the poetic, I’ve tried to create sweet somethings for everyone—from new large statement pieces, to itty bitty minis, and everything in between. I’ll be unveiling brand-new characters, reintroducing some fan favorites, and offering a fresh lineup of limited edition giclée prints. There’s a sprinkling of hope imbedded in every piece. I’d love for you to stop by and check them out.
📅 When: Saturday May 24 from 10am–6pm & Sunday May 25 from 10am-5pm
📍 Where: Conservatory Green in Central Park, 9304 E. 49th Place, Denver

I’m delighted to be joining the ranks of Artburst Artists for the next show, “Momentum,” which runs February 20-22nd online at ArtburstStudios.com. I’ll be featuring 10 original pieces that explore the small things that help us keep moving forward when life feels difficult. All pieces will be available for purchase during the live show event.
Pull up a chair to hear directly from the Artburst artists. Learn about their stories, creative processes and see sneak peeks of art for the upcoming show! We love the uniqueness of our artists and are sure you'll enjoy seeing their studios and the opportunity to ask your own burning questions.

Why Purple Poppies?
The Purple Poppy Project emerged from a deep desire to foster unity within our community. As we approached another election season, we felt the familiar unease that often accompanies it. Instead of retreating from the negativity or hiding away, we sought a different path—one that celebrates the unity and hope we experience when we come together. We chose to embrace the colors red, white, and blue, blending them into beautiful shades of purple, symbolizing the harmony that arises when we unite.
Poppies, long seen as symbols of hope and unity, became our inspiration. We decided to adorn our beloved neighborhood gathering place with a vibrant display of these resilient purple flowers.
Update 10/6/2024:
The poppies are installed!
Over 60 community members stopped by and helped paint poppies! There are hundreds currently on display. Swing by and check them out!! The poppies are best viewed from the lawn behind Stanley Beer Company. There is no fee to view the installation.
Want to help out?
The artists provided all the materials - donating funds means we can cover materials costs and keep doing projects like this in our community!
