This piece started with layers of texture and color.  Soon, that little face emerged, and she instantly gave off little sister vibes to me.  I love her mixture of softness and toughness - her sweet yellow dress and knobbly knees - her slingshot and peace sign. Is she a warrior? A  peace keeper?  Is she preparing to fire off stones or boldly putting down her own weapon amidst the flying rocks? 

I adore this little one and that upturned face makes me believe that she’s got more story to tell - I’m curious to hear what next chapter comes to life when you look at her.
